                                               THE 13 DISCIPLES

My first year at Rockledge is complete and I am still stand amazed at what God has done here.  We have been privileged to watch as personal relationships with Jesus Christ have been made.  We have seen God reveal his glory to us in the Smokey Mountains and have watched him rain down on us on the sandy beaches of Florida.  God has his hand on this church and on this community.

I believe we have witnessed only the beginning of what God has in store for us here at Rockledge.

God wants to move in the hearts of his people and I am praying that many more will experience the CHANGE that comes from having a personal relationship with Christ. 

 

We can’t stop now!!  It would be easy to set back brag on ourselves but IT’S NOT ABOUT US!!

The Lord Jesus has simply used us as vessels for His service and we should PRAISE HIS NAME!!

HE ALONE IS WORTHY OF PRAISE AND HONOR!! 

 

 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  Ephesians 2:8-10

 

You see the whole thing in a nut shell is this:  God does not look at evangelism as something special He looks at like this, “ I gave my life for you the least you can do is get out there and tell others about me”  Pride is one of the things that God hates and to boast of anything that we might have said or done is just wrong in the sight of the Almighty!! 

 

Look closely at the verses above, do you see the key phrases there?  Not of yourselves lest anyone should Boast!  For We are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for what?  GOOD WORKS!!  SO BEFORE WE START BOASTING WE HAVE TO REALIZE WE ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING SPECIAL, WE ARE SIMPLY DOING WHAT WE HAVE BEEN CREATED AND SAVED TO DO!!

 

TELL SOMEBODY ABOUT JESUS TODAY!!

IT IS OUR DUTY!!
